A Clear Blurr was recently featured on G Rock radio 106.3/106.5 in the NJ area on their specialty show G Rock Rising. You can check out the interview and two acoustic songs they did by going to www.grockradio.com and clicking on G Rock Rising. They had such a good response from that webcast that they played their song “Make You Happy” which is on their EP, on the radio twice.
A Clear Blurr just recently found out that the store Hot Topic will be carrying their finished CD in all of its stores this summer.
Direct TV approached them and asked us if they could use their music in TV commercials for their show “The 101″.
They just finished taping the TV show Fearless Music. It is on every Saturday night at 12:30 am on Fox 5 NY. Their episode will be aired sometime in late April early May of 2008.
Their song “Regrets” from their ‘EP’ “In the Bedroom” will be used in the behind the scenes section of the movie “Le Petomance” written by Steve Ochs. You can find out more about the movie by visiting the following websites;

Hailing from Edison, NJ the members of A Clear Blurr—Tom Kenney (Vocals/ Guitar), Karl Pearson (Bass), Cole MacDonnell (Drums), Kevin Nicotera (Guitar/Vocals)—gear up to self release their debut CD Drop Everything, due to hit the street, Internet and Hot Topic retailers November 1st 2008. Drop Everything features 11 solid tracks produced by the band, four high school honor roll students. Writing all of their own music and lyrics the band has already created an underground buzz and reputation for making real time music that goes the distance, strong hooks, great vocals and a performance that significantly surpasses their age.
Formed in 2007 these high school seniors have been hard at work, the band has already played over 100 shows with opening slots for Revolution Mother, Socratic and Bedlight for Blue Eyes as well as a date on The Vans 2008 Warped Tour after winning a local battle of the bands competition. They can soon be seen performing on New York’s FearlessTV, and they have written, self produced and will self release their upcoming debut.
Don’t get the wrong idea…this band is not comprised of trust fund babies. When not attending their high school classes, at band practice, or playing a set in a crowed rock club you will find these guys at their day jobs. Tom, Karl, Kevin, and Cole all work at after school programs at local elementary schools. Typical? No!
You can call A Clear Blurr a proper punk band in the tradition of Blink 182, Rancid, Bad Religion or Green Day, but the music is heavily infused with harmonic melodies, resulting in an eardrum-obliterating, pulse-quickening, goose bump-inducing opus. A Clear Blurr has found a way to twist punk rock into a sound that stands out and at such a ripe young age.
