Bio Holding up the flag for The Vaal Triangle(Sedibeng), home to some of the most talented artists, The Phat Ones formed in early 2017 when Jabu Vincent Matlebe (DJ JavaMan) and Bongani Vincent Ngondo(VinceBlack) decided to work together. The partnership went from two music lovers who share the same interests in house to two minds in studio creating the unthinkable, with hopes to one day share their music with the world and telling a story of Africa in a new way. They’ve also worked with names such as Lucia from Idols SA , Mpho Maloka, Tlhaho Ntabanyane and Harvey among on their first single VaalRising. On stage, The Phat Ones bring you a soulful, spiritual, tribal fusion that is accompanied by a strong Deep Tech influence.

About Javaman
His style of music is house music. He enjoys making people dance and his lyrics will make you think of your loved ones. The man cannot dance to save his life but will surely make you move. He is a South African born artist from the Vaal Triangle, South of Johannesburg. It took him three days to learn his now favorite instrument from a friend,the keyboard. He played gospel music from the age of fourteen and took a break from music in 2006 to focus on other commitments. He was re-introduced to a studio again in 2013 by a proposal from a friend. He became a member of the group called Mojay and they released a single called "Lerato". He then went solo in 2016, under his label called Jaydin Productions which he registered in 2016. Where he worked on his "Ngimthandile" single with a very talented female vocalist featured on it. This was Dj Javaman's first introduction to house music
