Did I tell y'all how REVO got started? Where the name even came from? Well here goes that story in short form.. I was in the studio with my "DAY ONES" SMEEG da hype , MERK & T ( M.n.T beats) , and my manager before he was my manager VAUGHN JAMES . We were all just in a warm up cipher and all that good shit and eventually we started in deep convo about music and the business in general as well as the artist from where I'm from (UTICA NY 315) . As the convo got deeper, I realized that I wanted to do something big for the town.. Do something different .. Create a "sound" and develop a movement that would stand out against "the norm" of today.. Start a revolution so to speak.. To modify existing musical content.. The name REVO was born.. I knew I couldnt do such a thing by myself (well i could but..lol.) What better way than to enjoy success and being able to display talent to the world with the dudes I grew up with.. Shit ! they just as talented as I am! We cover a lot of ground when it comes to our content , our style ,raw talent as well our own sound and still manage to remain true to our identity as individuals and "hip hop" in its overall aesthetic.. I'll introduce you to the team.. Artist: XQ (myself) , SWAG, PROPH, ISA BLAQUE, KAISER, MERK & T (PRODUCERS/ARTIST)and our female MC DIMOND..
