To all my wonderful subscribers I really do appreciate you taking the time in your busy lives to listen to my songs. I write about 5 -10 songs a week ( I didn't say that they are all good)! I would like to share something with you. A song I wrote at 01.00am on the morning of Valentine's Day yes, yesterday, I wrote for my husband. We met in 1962 and so our first cards were exchanged in February 1963. I always write from my heart and so 'Simply Meant To Be' was written. I felt sad that it was just words on a page and when I gave it to him I promised that one day I would find a way to get it recorded. I had a wonderful day and in the evening I posted the words of the song on a social media site to enable me to share them with my friends and family worldwide. This morning I had a fantastic surprise when a singer from over 100 miles away contacted me and said that she had put the words to music played a guitar and sung and recorded the song.
