New Song.
This is a collaboration with my dear friend, Smokin' Joe Pilloud, https://www.n1m.com/bigdaddysbluesband
Better known for his rhythm and blues work, this is an interesting diversion from that genre. Joe does the bulk of the work, I added some percussion.
I hope you like it.
Stay Safe.

All,
While Covid-Binging the English TV Show, Last Tango in Halifax, I stumbled across this Bellamy Brothers tune.
I was familiar with their hit, Just Let your Love Flow from the 70's but I had never heard this one before. It seems it was a big hit in Britain.
The song was released in 1979 and was a number 1 on the country charts. The story goes that one of the brothers heard Groucho Marx make the comment, "If I said you had a beautiful body, would you hold it against me?" on his TV show in the 60's. It stuck with him and ultimately, this song was born.
When I heard it on the Last Tango show I was instantly blown away. There is not a single thing about this song I don't like.
I hope you like It. It was a blast recording it.
Please stay safe and thank you again for your interest.
Peace.

Folks,
I wanted to wish all of you a very happy and healthy holiday season.
I cannot adequetly express my appreciation for all your kind words of interest and support for my humble musical efforts.
My music has allways been very rewarding to me personally. I have never had any composition skills but I love getting intimate with music I appreciate and enjoy.
To have so many people enjoy what I do musically is a great gift and I thank you endlessly for that.
So, again a very happy and heathy holiday season and new year. And thank you very much.

Happy Fall, everyone.
Just a quick note to let you know I have put up a new tune.
Please Come to Boston by Dave Loggins. Originally released in 1974 and garnered a Grammy Nomination for him
I have liked this tune since it was new. I have no idea why it took so long for me to learn it.
I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed recording it.
I will be on hiatus for the Winter. I was somewhat distracted this year and was not as productive as I would have liked. Perhaps next year will yield more product?
As always, thank you so much for your interest and support. I'll be back to work in the Spring.

All,
Here's my latest effort.
This tune was written by Bruce Springsteen and released by him in 1978. The Pointer Sisters had a modest hit with it and theirs is the version most folks recognize.
My version features the lovely and talented Nortman Sisters providing back up vocals. I am to blame for everything else.
I hope you enjoy the song. It was a blast to record.
As always, thank you very much for your interest and support.
Peace,
Kenny.

All,
First, thank you very much for your interest in my humble efforts. You cannot know how much I appreciate it.
I have uploaded a new tune, Another Road. Originally written and performed by Kenny Loggins. This song was on the Back Stage album with Jimmy Messina. I have been a Loggins and Messina fan since they first joined forces in the early 70's. The Back Stage album is one of my favorites. Kenny does an acoustic set at the open, joined part way through by Jimmy. If you have not heard this album, I urge you to give it a listen.
I hope you enjoy this offering and, again, thank you.

Folks,
I just uploaded a song, Since I Met You Baby. It is an old song, I remember it from when I was very young. I recently heard a version of it on a movie sound track and it caught me attention.
I have one more tune I am trying to complete before I sign off for the Winter.
I hope you enjoy this offering.
Thank you, again, for your interest.

I have put up two new songs. Well, not actually new, I recorded these some years ago so, the production value is not top notch but, I really liked these songs.
The first, Working Man is an English folk song from the 60's. Some family members traveled to Ireland, heard the song and liked it. I liked too so, I recorded it for them.
The second was done by Nora Roberts on her first album. My wife was a big fan and this song caught my ear.
Thank you again for listening.
