Posh Punk Garage Rock at Its Finest

So fun. Great female projection. Nice melodic form from both vocals. It's starts out like a Garage Rock genre then glides into a posh Garage Rock with vocals, the female leading. The originality is outstanding. I found myself relating to the past with punk, rock, and rhythm and blues. Would love to see this live. A great night club favorite this definitely can be. So we'll done.

Nice tune

Good rocking tune with a nice variety of changes the only downfall was the volume of the recording,a bit low but what i listen to,was very well mixed with a great level of instruments recorded. Cheers Lowjam

Vocals

An average song we hear everyday, but it could really stand out, if the vocals was understandable. However, the music is excellent, and I'm loving the bass. Maybe if the background music was lowered, the vocals would give this song new life.

Grateful Dead/Jefferson Airplane lives on with The Politians All Sing

Thoroughly enjoyed this walk down The Politians All Sing memory lane. A mixture of San Francisco sounds coming out with this little gem from the Washington DC area based 2nd Story Band.

The Politicians Sing

Hey 2nd Story Band, Singing truth in this song, you make it work with this drummers back beat. Interesting song akin to Bye Bye American Pie. I love the chords and the guitar instrumental. The bridge is inventive and a real treat to hear. A bit more Rock Acoustic. Time out to hear your song is time worth spending. Excellent lyrics, talented song writer. Great vocals too! I think you have a chart topper. I would put it in World Genre too for a bit more airplay. Just a suggestion.

2nd Story Band ... The Politians All Sing

Very tight track with a message that can be clearly heard would imagine this a difficult piece for the percussionist as the drummer hi lights riffs and steps back to allow excellent guitar to feature as required. had to listen again just for the bass work again good performance. the backing is complex the way it keeps changing and all the instruments go with it. quite an achievement well done. the vocals grew on me by the third listen and there are some lungs at work in the 4th quarter . guitar riffs and steel styles mixed interestingly and even a key change wow a lot of work has gone in to this piece. And if you listen to the words there is some education in there too. Thanks for your work Stephen

American ribs; puro e intenso sabor a rock americano

From hard rock to country

The attack of this song reminds the 80s rock, it's interesting that there' s a duet, with a woman, fast hard rock, where you're waiting for another style. This song is very American in the sound.

Entertaining and political

Good vibes for this musician full of lucidity and whith a big sense of humour on our world ! The music is flowing and waving in our ears like a river of sound. Guitar swinging and dancing. Good interpretation and good voices to ! I like it very much.

B53s?

Wacky, very creative and disturbingly funny! Sounds like a revved up B52s song. The lyrics are poignant and provocative without being overbearingly political. The extended solo is full of cool riffs and phrases showcasing this bands musicianship. Very cool tune. I would listen again and be interested in hearing more. I would give 5 stars but I don't want to appear like a kissass.

sounds good

Definitely a great idea but it's just the way you do what you do that makes it your own . And that's how you continue to make hits for people to enjoy for years to come. Keep up the good work and don't ever give up on your dreams.

Very creative song!

Hey - that´s really something special. The intro starts off with some hot guitar riffs, but this arrangement is more various. The drummer is playing his part straight on the point. Different transitions in the bridges making the composition engaging for me. The tenacity of the song is forced by virtuous rock guitar accompanying including dry backing bass-line. This extra factor brings more groove into the arrangement. Great lyrics about someone or something, including all the relevant characteristics, qualities, or events. The refrain is impressive and makes the meaning of the song engaging for me. The song is definitely professional and very creative. The instruments are extremely good played from very talented musicans. Very good mixing and perfectly well done composition. This recording has influences of Pop, Rock & Roll and Country Music and could be a radio hit. It´s original and I´m sure you will also like to add him. Let others know your recommedation.

Good song

Hi.N1M has asked me to write a review and I've picked out this song. Let me start by considering the lyrics. As I understand these they offer some honest critics on the ghetto-based multicultural American society ( you mention e.g. the Chinese, the native americans,...) from which lesser honest politicians benefit from, though very oftenly only in favour of their own wallet. " The politicians all sing...and further on" is a really catchy phrase, and it functions well as the red tape of your song. The guitar sounds really nice: good guitarist with a unique, well-fit sound. The sound of the song in general is great, including the harmony of the superb voices. Considering the composition of the song, I like the break VERY much, it's really well done, but, as I wrote in so many reviews on N1M already, it ends a bit abruptly; if you could try to repeat the chorus one time or add a chorus chord scheme just instrumentally the song can linger on a bit in your head, which is, as you should agree with, of course the main target. A fade-out at the end of the song, which is a musical tool that is used too few times nowadays actually, can create the lingering also. What I also like in your song is the stuttering-effect, which really sounds cool ! Anyway, I really like your song and I'm really curious for more of your music. bien

Suena bien, no es muy de mi estilo pero no está mal, la melodía es un poco monótona, pero se deja escuchar. En general está bien, buena instrumentación, la guitarra suena muy bonita y está bien interpretado

In MY Opinion

Helpful

Greetings, Thank you for choosing me to review your work, I count it an honor to be included in such a task. My hat is off to you and anyone willing to step out and share their gift, talent and love of music to the public. Be it a musician, singer, song writer, actor and so-on. I myself, via 40 some years of experience in the fields, on the road, in the studio, radio, TV, video, and management, consider myself to be a seasoned musician, singer, song writer, studio-sound tech/engineer/ owner/operator, stage manager, find it sometimes hard/difficult and perhaps not even fair to sit in a seat, voicing My Opinion concerning another's creative efforts. Especially in certain genres of music I am not all that familiar with concerning very important elements that make up and meet the required standards to justify the various levels of ratings and grades. So, in saying ALL that, I will limit myself to MY Opinion concerning the quality of the work according to My ears, and the standards I have been familiarized with thru-out the years. I hold to the old - saying " Beauty Is In The EAR of The Beholder ... LOL. The sound quality of the recording over-all is very crisp and bright and clear, Like the energy thru-out the song ..... ALIVE. I really enjoyed the slide guitar work.Vocals are smooth. The mix levels let me know who was still in charge of this song. Very easy to sit back and listen to. I mean no offense in any part, I myself take all feedback and use it as a tool toward my next project. I pray you feel the same way. Either way, I say to you, keep doing what you do, keep kicking and enjoying what you do. I tell folks all the time for many years. When it stops being FUN, then it's time to stop, and stand back and think about what we are doing, why we are doing it, how we are doing it, what we and others are getting out it. Is it what we want, and how we want it. IF NOT. what are willing to do from there? Thank you again for asking MY OPINION. Johnny
