Nice easy to listen to, sounds floaty. I'm no music expert but I have to type at least 150 characters, so I'm just going to prattle on about nothing, except how much I like this song. Enjoyed it.

Some Nerve

Nice sound but seems a never ending song, anyway this sound is fresh but risks to incapsulate itself into a repetitive session even if slightly evoluted, better say that ain't finding its own conclusion. Nevertheless is a good start. Love the beat and groove and I would have considered to insert a suspension in the middle before taking its travel again and at the end of the piece. It depends on what your up to. If you give more sense on the sound of each instrument you play then you need a lounge aspect of the theme otherwise if you concentrate the lot on the voice of the singer and choirs then you need to be more radiophonical, shorter and direct. Good inspiration found on between drums and voice. Good job. Keep it up and enjoy.

Eclectic electric

Helpful

I enjoyed listening to this piece. It built very nicely and the vocals were subtle and not overpowering. I appreciated the instrumental and sonic juxtaposition, if you will, of the anachronistic sound of the drums and harmonica against the electro background. I was, though, waiting for a melodic modulation that never came. However that may be the central point of this piece - straightforward and driving ahead.

Funky little intro, sample sounds are pretty cool. Vocals come on thick and creamy buried in fx which also sound cool. Keyboards add a little something but not sure what. In general I like the track but would appreciate a bit more variation in sounds as it goes on a bit also find the drums a little cumbersome.

Rockstar Review: 18th Star - Some Nerve

Some nerve has a tenacious drum ensemble within the built in groove assimilating through the bass; which builds into the beginning vocal grace. This electronica sound is cool, as the vocals in my ideal could possibly stand out in a higher climax for electronic smooth additive. The synchronization is very key and tight in the vocal flight. The variety effect and piano theatric bring in an atmospheric effect, that puts you into an uplifting bless of feeling correct. This artist, 18th Star sound is very vibrant and has great potential , possible just better mastering and will have a definite higher reaction.

This star isnt shining as bright as it could.

Overall sound is ok however towards the start seems to be some issues with the timing as it goes a little haywire. Also I like vocoders as much as the next person but feel it could be brighter and set on its own a little better as it tends to blend in with the rest of the song making it hard to hear at times. But overall good tune just needs a bit of work.

My personal opinion...

It is the first time that I listen to a song produced with all the sounds so processed from the beginning to the end, including the voice, in such a way that it hides the authentic essence of each of them, I do not say that this is bad, it seems that it sounds pretty good and I imagine it is part of the style of the band or the project and it is the concept that they wanted to give in this demonstration, but if I wanted to give a constructive criticism, according to my personal opinion, the production is slightly exceeded in this way , taking into account also that there are many elements, sounds or instruments that participate and all of them processed with a lot of density. Despite this, for my tastes and preferences, one of the most important things in a music, is that it is not monotonous and if I can make another constructive criticism, the song has no changes in its structure, in fact, in principle in order, it is based only on two notes. When a song could be divided into part A, B, C and some D, etc. here there is only A nothing more, the only changes are the input of some sounds that are included from the middle on, but always based on two notes and we are talking about a song of more than 6 minutes. Most of the time, I always get something that I like in a music, so, what was previously mentioned, for me it is not a big problem, because while I was listening, the song gave me a very pleasant moment of relaxation from those who do fly mentally in such a way that you do not feel the weight of the body, but I would like to give a warning to you, artists that composed it, because I know there are many people who could get bored listening to a song of this style, without enjoying it in the way that I did it In any case, good job guys!

Pensive and Hypnotic

Dreamy track that sounds a bit like spacerock or shoegaze. Pensive and hypnotic. Lush, artificial soundscapes with thick FX are blended with live performance. Shades of Mogwai, Spiritualized, Tortoise, and dub. A whiff of jazz fusion or prog rock. Nice track.

Jazzy electronica with organ.and vocals.

This track is not bad. A very jazzy downtempo electronica track with vocals. They use an old orgal. Maybe a Hamond Organ? Or is it an virtual plugin organ sound, organ similated with a synthesizer. Who knows. But it igves the track it´s own caracter. It also sounds less programed than other electronica styles but more "live" playing including som harmonica playing It sound also like underground music.

Good Nerve

This is a fun track simply for the simplicity in the complexion of making it seem so effortless. There's a dreamy ethereal quality to the music which would be a great backdrop to a club scene in a movie or television show where you need some catchy background music to keep the characters moving. I'd play this on my computer while doing other work, or even at a dinner party.

yes

I'm very impressed with your piece. there are different sounds and a way of composing that reminded me of some old group of the 80s. everything is very soft and very psychedelic. great piece to be enjoyed on a terrace at sunset in front of a large beer.

Funky Lounge

A Drum and Bass grooves initiates the main musical theme of this laid back composition. The vocal progresses the song forward and the mid-point breakdown D&B that transitions with a harmonica melody into an extended outro that features the drums which are the obvious strong point as this song ends with several keyboard motifs. The arrangement is slightly non-conventional. The mix could benefit from some frequency deconflicting which would give each musical element more clarity in the final mix. Happy Composing!
